Founded in 1987, Connect2Help 2-1-1, formerly known as, Connect2Help, is a nonprofit agency that offers a range of human services. It publishes The Rainbow BooK, which is a directory of community health and human service programs available to people in Indiana. The agency collects data and publishes information on needs, resources and gaps to inform community funders and planners. It also provides overnight, weekend and emergency backup for various call centers. Connect2Help 2-1-1 assists various communities during state and local disasters, including floods, tornadoes, heat waves and ice storms. The agency is accredited by the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems and has received certification from the American Association of Suicidology. It additionally offers information on transitional and subsidized housing. Connect2Help 2-1-1 is located in Indianapolis.
