Core Business Technology Solutions was officially created in March of 2004. In 1994, Jeff Lackey, current President and owner of Core Business, founded KSM Consulting, an information technology consulting company in Indianapolis. KSM s mission was to be the recognized leader and premier provider of advanced systems and network integration and consulting services to the local business community, a mission that Core continues today. From 1998 through 2004, majority ownership was held by Cincinnati Bell, under the company names of EnterpriseWise, Broadwing, and Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions. Cincinnati Bell sold the controlling interest in the company to the management team in March 2004, which was the genesis of Core Business Technology Solutions. Core now operates four offices with sales and full services capabilities located throughout the Northeast and Midwest United States.
