Founded in 1960, Cortez High School is operated by the Glendale Union High School District and offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. It organizes various events, such as prom, homecoming, Christmas dance and Valentine s dance. It also offers participation in a wide range of activity clubs and organizations, including band, choir, chorus, drama, stage crew, student council, the National Honor Society and cheerleading.
