The Cotton-O’Neil Digestive Health Center, part of the Stormont-Vail HealthCare system, is now one of three facilities in Kansas to be recognized for excellence in endoscopic safety and quality by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). The ASGE Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program honors endoscopy units that follow the ASGE guidelines for quality assurance, endoscopic reprocessing, infection control and medical staff privileging. This recognition signifies the centers dedication to delivering high-quality endoscopic care and that its physicians and staff have received specialized training around these principles.
