Creighton Medical Laboratories, based on the Creighton University campus in Omaha in Nebraska, has more than 6,500 square feet of space. The facility houses anatomic pathology, cytology, clinical pathology core, flow cytometry, molecular and clinical genomics, toxicology, tuberculosis, fungus and microbiology laboratories. It provides scheduled, prearranged and on-call courier services, supplies needed to collect and transport specimens to its laboratory, and collection services venipuncture and capillary draws. Creighton Medical Laboratories is accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The facility is governed by the Creighton Department of Pathology and employs over 80 medical technicians. It also offers phlebotomy services for long-term care facilities.
