Founded in 1928, Cumberland School is a learning center that provides a variety of educational opportunities to students in junior kindergarten through grade five. It has an enrollment of more than 650 students. The school s curriculum includes reading, math, art, music, physical education and information technology. Cumberland School maintains a computer laboratory, as well as offers occupational and speech therapies. It administers special education programs for students with learning disabilities. The school operates a library media center and student council. Cumberland School maintains a parent-teacher organization that works for student welfare. It provides psychology and guidance counseling services. The school is a part of the Whitefish Bay School District.
