CVS/pharmacy is the retail division of CVS Caremark Corporation, which is one of the largest retail pharmacies in the United States with more than 6,200 retail locations. It serves the health care needs of customers and offers baby and child care, cosmetics, diet and nutrition, home medical supplies and household items. The division also maintains separate sections for medicine cabinets, natural products, sexual health, skin care, and personal care and bath medicines. CVS Caremark Corporation fills and manages over 1 billion prescriptions annually and employs a staff of nearly 190,000 pharmacists and nurse practitioners. The corporation organizes a variety of retail loyalty programs and maintains a pharmacy benefit management, mail order and specialty pharmacy division.
