Dakota Hills Middle School serves the educational needs of more than 1,300 students and offers classes from grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes language arts, English, math, social studies, science, foreign languages, family and consumer sciences, music, fine arts and physical education. It also offers various special education classes for students with special needs. The school has a fully equipped media center that offers a large collection of books and other student links and resources. It organizes various extracurricular activities and student clubs that include chess club, Odyssey of the Mind, math league, yearbook club, spelling bee, culture club, student council, and art and industrial technology club. The school has athletic teams for volleyball, soccer, tennis, cross country, football, basketball, wrestling, swimming, softball and baseball. Dakota Hills Middle School is located in Eagan, Minn.
