ConnecticutÕs Danbury Orthopedics employs 12 fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists and sub-specialists, and offers its services in six locations. Annually, the centers cater to about 70,000 patients and perform more than 5,000 surgical procedures. The centers offer comprehensive treatment for issues involving hand, spine, foot, ankle, and total joint. It also specializes in sports medicine, and provides therapy services and pain management to aid recovery. The first Danbury Orthopedics center was opened in 1954. It is a member of Western Connecticut Orthopedic Specialists.
