Dapper Tire was founded in 1946 by Darwin V. Dapper as a distributor of tires to the service station; tire dealers and related companies in the San Diego market. Since that time, Dapper Tire has expanded throughout California serving the market with locations in Orange County, Los Angeles, Ontario, Ventura County, Fresno, Sacramento and Bay Area. Recent expansion opportunities have resulted in new locations servicing the Portland, Ore., and Las Vegas markets. Dapper Tire s primary goal is to provide tires to the marketplace through the established tire dealers in a timely manner. The brands that are currently marketed are: Goodyear, Dunlop, Republic and Blue Streak.
