Dr. David A. Woodard is the Medical Director of Electrophysiology at Athens Regional Medical Center. Dr. Woodard has more than 10 years of private practice experience in the field of electrophysiology (EP) and device implantation. He is involved in general cardiology and non-invasive testing, and his main focus remains the evaluation and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.Dr. Woodard is active in pacemaker and ICD device implantation and follow-up, as well as catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. He has additional subspecialty board certification in electrophysiology. He joined Athens Cardiology Group in 2007.
