Davis Street Land Company is a privately held real estate company that is part of Perlmutter Investment Company family of operating companies ( www.perlmutter.net ). Davis Street Land Company is focused on both the development and ownership of upscale specialty centers located in suburban and urban settings. The company acquires, develops, manages, and redevelops upscale shopping centers in select locations throughout the U.S. The ability to properly develop and manage this portfolio is directly attributable to the groups' level of experience in the retail real estate industry and the number of years the senior management team has worked together. As the Managing Member of DSLC, Mr. Perlmutter's responsibilities include new business development, financing, and overseeing leasing, construction and marketing for all developments. Mr. Perlmutter was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Heitman Retail Properties, and a member of the Heitman Financial Executive Committee. While at Heitman Mr. Perlmutter was responsible for Heitman's large and growing retail portfolio in the early 1990's, with special emphasis on strategies that met new consumer demands and maximized long-term value. At DSLC Mr. Perlmutter has been responsible for the acquisition and development of projects such as The Mall at Green Hills in in Nashville TN, The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert, CA and Renaissance Place in Highland Park, IL. Mr. Perlmutter is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers ( ICSC ) and a Board Member for the First Bank of Highland Park. Mr. Perlmutter received his B.S. from the University of Colorado. Mr. Bonifazi is responsible for coordinating investor reporting, due diligence efforts on acquisitions and property refinancing, and all property management activities for each shopping center. Prior to joining DSLC, Mr. Bonifazi was the Director of Property Operations for Heitman International ( HI ) where he was responsible for setting up and overseeing property management and on-site operations, for both equity investments and fee assignments in the western and central European markets. Prior to his time at HI Mr. Bonifazi worked with the other partners at DSLC at Heitman Retail Properties ( HRP ) where he was directly responsible for all individuals involved in the day-to-day operation of HRP's directly managed portfolio of 21 regional centers throughout the United States. Mr. Bonifazi has 30+ years experience in the real estate industry. Ms. Johnson's responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of financial statements and all accounting related matters for the firm. Ms. Johnson was formerly the Vice President and Controller for Heitman Retail Properties where her responsibilities included working on financings and acquisitions and overseeing the preparation of financial statements for the company. Prior to joining Heitman Ms. Johnson was employed at Deloitte and Touche L.L.P as an audit senior manager in the real estate group. Ms. Johnson has a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois. She is a CPA, and a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the Illinois CPA Society, and a member of Chicago Real Estate Executive Women. Ms. Land is the director of retail leasing with responsibilities for existing properties including Plaza Frontenac, The Mall at Green Hills, The Gardens on El Paseo, and El Paseo Village. She also oversees all leasing activity within the company for new developments. Ms. Land was previously the Director of Leasing for Heitman Retail Properties with direct leasing responsibility for upscale centers located in St. Louis, MO ( Plaza Frontenac ) and Miami, FL ( The Falls ). Previously, Ms. Land was a general manager for Heitman at Honey Creek Mall in Terre Haute, IN.
