Building Inspections is a division of the Denver Building Department, which provides plan review and permitting, contractor licensing and administrative support services. Building Inspections consists of various specialty groups, including construction, general construction, boiler, electrical, elevator, mechanical, plumbing and public safety. It inspects the primary structural and finish systems in residential and commercial buildings, as well as focuses on roofing, siding, soffit and fascia, blown-in insulation and nonmasonry fences. The division additionally provides building code compliance, demolition, hazardous structures identification and fire alarm services. It is located in Denver.
