Denver Merchandise Mart provides retailers with approximately 600 permanent showrooms of merchandise. The facility offers retailers a centralized buying center. Industries represented in the Mart s showrooms include gift, apparel and accessories, western apparel and accessories, resort, decorative accessories, jewelry and home furnishings. Since its inception, additions to the mart have included the Expo Building, the Mart Pavilion, the forum meeting rooms and the Plaza Event Center, which are used during tradeshows connected to the Mart showrooms and for private, outside trade shows, public or consumer shows, special events and banquets. The Showroom Bar and Grill recently opened as a restaurant within the Mart. The Denver Merchandise Mart opened in 1965.
