Upper Arlington Parks & Forestry is responsible for the maintenance of parks, landscapes, gateways and public lands. It nurtures more than 17,000 park and street trees and also manages several active and passive recreational facilities within parks, such as playgrounds, athletic fields and shelterhouses. The department s parks offer various recreational facilities that include water fountains, ball diamonds, barbecue grills, shelter houses, sports fields, tennis courts and picnic areas. The parks also provide various amenities, such as multiuse paths, gazebos, shuffleboard courts, and parking and restroom services. Additionally, the department provides special assistance for various events, such as the Labor Day Arts Festival, Fourth of July Celebration and Farmers Market.
