The Division of Hematology/Oncology, a part of the UVa Health System, offers medical treatment and care to patients with hematological and oncological diseases. The division conducts a range of clinical trials and physical examinations. It maintains a staff of certified medical oncologists, hematologists, nurses, administrators, laboratory specialists and assistants. The division also provides diagnosis and treatment for breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, ovarian, uterine, skin and testicular cancer. The Division of Hematology/Oncology offers services for people suffering with lung, intestinal and kidney disorders. It performs ardiology, ophthalmology, pathology, palliative care and radiology, as well as imaging services that includes magnetic resonance, ultrasound and X-ray.
