The Dermatology Nurses' Association is a professional nursing organization that promotes dermatologic care. The association includes more than 3,000 members with over 20 local chapters. It publishes a bimonthly newsletter, DNA Focus. The association offers scholarships, grants and awards. The Dermatology Nurses' Association also provides dermatology nursing certification courses. The association publishes the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses Association, which features health policy and advocacy articles, as well as columns on cutaneous oncology and surgical dermatology issues. It practices in the areas of laser procedures, radiation therapy, camouflage cosmetics and pain management. In addition, the Dermatology Nurses' Association offers educational programs.
