Located in Tucson, Ariz., Desert Christian Elementary School is a part of Desert Christian Schools, which also owns and operates a middle and high school. Founded in 2004, Desert Christian Elementary School enrolls more than 165 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its curriculum includes reading, history, math, art, science and English. The school organizes parent-teacher meetings that encourage parental involvement in children's education. Desert Christian Schools provides Christ-centered educational programs, as well as employs over 65 staff members. Its schools are accredited by the North Central Association and are members of the Association of Christian Schools International.
