Desks Inc. was founded in 1956 by Pete Dunlap. In 1978, Bob Stacey and Pat Degnan purchased Desks Inc. It was acquired by Jim Ford, Mark Dillon, and Greg Erazmus in September 2001 and in July 2002 moved into its headquarters in downtown Chicago. Desks Inc. is an office furniture resource that represents more than 200 of the furniture industries manufacturers.
