DI'MANS was created to establish a well-organized program to assist abused, neglected, at-risk and other disconnected youth in becoming productive citizens as adults through enhanced academics, behavior modification, etiquette, health and well-being, and social and employment skills training. DI'MANS goals are to improve academic test scores, increase the odds of youth attaining a high school diploma or GED, facilitate youth in achieving a post-secondary education and/or in obtaining employable trades and/or occupations, teach youth the importance of teamwork through athletic competition, and decrease the desire of youth to commit crimes.
