DigaComm is a private investment firm based in Chicago. It is a limited liability company that deals mainly with the technology industry. DigaComm recruits venture capital and uses it principals to initiate buyouts and add-on acquisition transactions for its investors. The firm s investing members have been operating for more than 20 years. They have achieved rates of return in more than 30 buyout and add-on transactions and in making 13 venture capital investments. DigaComm is currently directing its focus on start-up ventures, which the company initiates with management. DigaComm was founded in 1980 as Peter W. Smith & Company, and in 1998 was established as DigaComm with a combined capital of nearly $260 million.
