The Division of Vascular Surgery is a provider of health care services. The division offers residency training programs approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. It conducts learning and training for clinical and academic development of vascular surgeons. The Division of Vascular Surgery specializes in laboratory research, vascular physiology and pathobiology services. The division offers nonsurgical vascular interventions, including arteriography, angioplasty and stenting and endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms and vascular trauma. It is a part of the University of Maryland Medical Center, which provides treatment for various diseases, such as diabetes, cancer and sleeping disorders.
