Established in 1981, Doctors Care is one of the first, minor emergency medical centers in South Carolina and Tennessee. It provides preventive, occupational, urgent, primary and orthopedic care services. The center specializes in the areas of pediatrics and sports and family medicine. It is a division of UCI Medical Affiliates, which is a company that provides nonmedical management and administrative services. Doctors Care also offers colonoscopy, cryosurgery, stress testing and outpatient surgery solutions. The center also provides surgical treatments for lacerations, fractures, sprains, lesions and burns. In addition, Doctors Care offers X-ray and pregnancy, rapid strep and blood testing services.
