Founded in 1919, The Douglass Community Association is a nonprofit organization that provides social, recreational and community developmental services. It offers youth athletic and educational programs and home rehabilitative services. The organization also provides home repair, painting, carpentry and masonry services. In addition, The Douglass Community Association offers psychotherapeutic, psychological testing, case management, and family and community counseling services. It also provides a family advocate program that prevents the escalation of child abuse. The organization hosts meetings, receptions and social gatherings.
