Duke School s Middle School Division offers a range of academic and enrichment activities for students in grades five through eight. The division maintains library and information center that houses a selection of books and online reference materials. It provides classes in science, mathematics, music, social studies and performing arts. Duke School s Middle School Division also hosts sessions in art, music, drama and physical education. The division assists with the development of evaluation and problem-solving skills. Its curriculum additionally includes Spanish and media and technology. Duke School is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
