East River Family Strengthening Collaborative, also known as ERFSC, offers a range of community-based services for youths, families and the communities in which they live. Established in 1996, it collaborates with various community residents and organizations that provide services to prevent homelessness, increase financial self-sufficiency and decrease youth violence. The agency maintains community, youth and family services divisions. East River Family Strengthening Collaborative s community service division offers financial literacy, capacity-building and technical assistance services to small organizations. It provides a variety of case management, crisis intervention, housing, visitation, child abuse prevention, and information and referral services. East River Family Strengthening Collaborative maintains a presence in Washington, D.C.
