Established in 1968, Eastmont Towers is a nonprofit retirement community and is governed by a volunteer board of directors. It offers seniors independent living, assisted living and nursing care. The community employs more than 200 people and serves over 300 seniors. Its facility consists of fitness centers, library, computer lab, beauty salon, lounges, billiards rooms, ice-cream parlor and common areas for gatherings. It provides services, such as nursing care, cable, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, heath clinics, lockers, garages, meals and a registered dietician. Its palliative care services include pain management, medication monitoring, mobility assistance for comfort and depression management. Located in Lincoln, Neb., it also offers an active religious life program that includes the services of a chaplain and various nondenominational chapel services.
