Melvin Edes attends cooking classes, universities and seminars to procure the best tasting and most unique meats in the Texas Panahandle. Melvin started in the meat business at age 17 with Safeway grocery stores. He worked at Safeway for 25 years. Edes Custom Meats and has been in businees since 1982. We are a full service meat market. We operate under full time health inspectors. All items we sell have won grand champion awards either at the state or national level.
