The Ellis Arts Academy is a learning center that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The academy is a part of Rockford Public School District 205, which serves more than 28,000 students through various elementary, middle and high schools. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. The Ellis Arts Academy also supports programs in music and visual arts. The academy offers extracurricular activities, such as dance and drama. In addition, it has a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising activities and sponsors skate nights and ice cream socials. The Ellis Arts Academy is located in Rockford, Ill.
