Elmer's Restaurants was recently named one of the fastest growing public companies in Oregon by the Business Journal. The restaurant s menu offers a variety of traditional breakfast lunch and dinner favorites, including eggs benedict, deluxe club, cimmaron chicken salad, halibut parmesan and prime rib. Elmer s also features items for guests aged-55 and older and for children. Walter and Dorothy Elmer open the first Elmer's as Elmer's Colonial Pancake & Steak House in 1960. The first menu was devoted nearly entirely to pancakes, featuring almost 30 different varieties. In 1998, a team of restaurateurs bought a majority interest in Elmer s. The restaurants locations span four states including Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho and California.
