Established in 1948, Enable provides assessment, training, therapy and support for more than 2,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families annually. It offers a variety of speech, occupational and physical therapy services for children between the ages of ages 3 and 5. Enable, also known as the United Cerebral Palsy and Handicapped Children's Association of Syracuse, is a member of the United Way of Greater Oswego County. It is an affiliate of Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State and a member of the Associations for Persons in Supported Employment. Enable additionally provides communication and assistive technology, comprehensive clinical and self-directed personal services. It is located in Syracuse, N.Y.
