English American Tailoring traces it's roots back more than a century. The company manufactures luxurious fabrics in a range of styles. The woolens are obtained from Europe and the Far East; lamb's wool and saxonies from Scotland; blends of wool and silk from Italy; and fine worsted tropicals from Japan. Fancy suiting and sport jacketing are exclusively woven for English American. Each individual garment that enters manufacturing has a complete outline pertaining to the specifications and detailed tailoring instructions. There are 10 inspection stations and 14 inspectors that review the operations throughout sewing to ensure they meet the proper quality standards. At various intervals the coat is placed on a mannequin and inspected for balance, matching and overall appearance. Garments are measured for size, accuracy and examined again before being sent out to our customers. English American Tailoring is located in Westminster, Md.
