Founded in 1947, The Epilepsy Association of Western New York Inc. (EAWNY) offers services for individuals and families with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Based in Buffalo, N.Y., the organization assists individuals and families to cope with epilepsy as well as enables them to lead productive lives. It also offers neurobehavioral treatment program that comprises biofeedback/behavior modification and stress management/supportive reality therapy/hypnosis. In addition, The Epilepsy Association of Western New York Inc. provides family support services, Medicaid service coordination, and adult counseling services and programs.
