Epworth Children s Home was established in 1895 and is an agency of the United Methodist Church. It is a private, non-profit child and family service organization located in Columbia, S.C. It provides a wide range of child care, counseling and various other services that include residential programs and church services. Epworth Children s Home offers various programs for young children with disabilities and special needs, and provides a specialized pre-school setting for children and in-home family training for infants and toddlers. Additionally, it offers several other programs that include foster care, tutoring program, independent living and higher education services.
