Founded in 1968, Escuela del Sol Montessori is a nonprofit school located in Albuquerque, N.M. The school provides a toddler program for children up to the age of 3. Its primary classes offer an early childhood program that features Spanish, language arts, music education and art. Escuela Del Sol Montessori s elementary school serves students in grades one through six. The school also includes the Harwood Art Center, which provides classes in theater, dance, painting, sculpture, photography, fiber art, graphic design and bookmaking.
