Originally founded in 1910 as a swimwear manufacturer, Everlast Worldwide is a manufacturer, marketer and licensor of sporting goods and apparel under the Everlast brand name. The company, which is best known for its boxing products, is the official equipment supplier of undisputed middleweight champions. In July 1992, the company began producing women s activewear. In October 2000, Active Apparel Group acquired Everlast in a deal valued at $60 million. Since the acquisition, Everlast Worldwide manufactures all boxing and fitness equipment and owns all worldwide licensing rights to the prominent brand. In 2005, the company reported annual revenues totaling more than $43 million. Everlast Worldwide is headquartered in New York City and has production facilities in Moberly, Mo.
