Fairmount Behavioral Health System

Fairmount Behavioral Health System, located on a beautiful 27-acre wooded campus, is a private 239-bed behavioral health facility that specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. For over 80 years, Fairmount has been a major regional resource for individuals experiencing psychiatric, behavioral or addiction issues. Fairmount provides inpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents and adults. Our inpatient programs are provided in a safe and comfortable setting and are each tailored to the individual. We recently completed the construction of a 32-bed wing, which expands our existing child/adolescent program by adding two units dedicated to the specialized treatment of adolescent girls. Fairmount also provides specialized services and a continuum of care for adults with co-occurring psychiatric and addiction issues. Fairmount's 67-bed adult chemical dependency program includes detoxification and rehabilitation services for individuals experiencing addiction to alcohol, sedatives and/or opiates.Fairmount also offers an Acute Partial Hospitalization Program for adults and adolescents 14 years and older. This program is designed to help those individuals who need more structured and focused care than can be provided in outpatent treatment. It also can ease the transition from inpatient treatment to home.
