Theodore D. Young Community Center provides education, cultural, recreational and social activities and services. The community center serves the residents of Greenburgh, N.Y. The community centers is part of the city s Department of Community Resources. The original mission of the Theodore D. Young Community Center was to lessen problems caused by poverty, racism and cultural deprivation. The center provides a full-court indoor gymnasium, arts program classes, heated indoor pool, lighted tennis courts, lockers rooms with saunas, athletic fields, conference room, playground, fitness center, library, computer room and performing arts studio.
