The Transplant Center offers a range of diagnosis, transplant and follow-up care services. It specializes in heart, liver, lung, kidney, intestinal, pancreas and islet transplants. The center provides care for various medical conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis (CF), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), gastroenterology and hepatology. The Transplant Center conducts living donor transplants for pancreas, liver, intestinal, islet, lung and kidney transplant patients. The center also offers care for patients with pulmonology, kidney diseases, and lung and breathing problems. It is a part of the University of Minnesota Physicians, which is a nonprofit, multispecialty physician organization that focuses on the areas of primary and specialty care.
