Based out of San Diego, California, Family Kayak Adventure Center offers private lessons, local nature tours and complete multi-day packages to Baja California, the Southwestern United States, Florida and Southeast Alaska. Touring the local area is fun and open to people from 2 to 102. We also accommodate people with special needs. Our mission is to provide kayaking opportunities to people of all ages with varying degrees of ability. We offer our out-of town trips for adults only, families or youth groups. An active kayaker, Marie Humphrey has been a trip planner and lead kayaker since 1995. As a Certified Kayak Instructor through the American Canoe Association, Marie's knowledge of the San Diego kayaking area is second to none. With a Wilderness First Responder ( Advanced First Aid ) certification through Wilderness Medical Associates, her abilities and training give her the drive to put safety and fun first for everyone.
