IHOP, also known as the International House of Pancakes, is a chain of restaurants that serves a variety of food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant chain offers more than 10 types of pancakes, as well as omelets, burgers, sandwiches, salads, chicken and steaks. It provides several fruit and sweet cream cheese fillings, such as black cherry, blueberry, cinnamon-apple and strawberry. Founded in 1958, IHOP supports various causes that range from national charities to local organizations. It also offers gift cards to customers. The restaurant chain is a wholly owned subsidiary of IHOP Corporation and has more than 1,300 outlets throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
