Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta is a financial organization that provides member-owners funding to finance home mortgages and small business loans. More than 1,100 banks, credit unions, savings institutions and insurance companies own Federal Home Loan Bank. The member owners are located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Federal Home offers services such as daily investment accounts, disbursement accounts and account reconciliation, alternative demand disbursement, settlement services, time deposits, ACH, coin and currency and custodial mortgage accounts. In addition to cash management services, the bank provides other non-credit services including wire transfer, safekeeping and interest rate modeling. The bank also provides financing, grants, education, technical assistance and capacity building support through several housing and community economic development programs. Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta is one of 12 district banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank system.
