Fihankra Place Inc

Fihankra Place is a minority-owned, social service organization that has been operational since 1998. It provides housing and basic life skills to at-risk adolescents in the Washington metropolitan area. The organization maintains the Supervised Independent Living Service program (SILS), which is designed to provide structured living arrangements and training in adult living skills. Fihankra Place also operates a traditional group home for male adolescents. Its staff members include program directors, independent living skills counselors, security personnel, activities directors and educational specialists. Located in Washington, D.C., the organization also offers consulting, advocacy, behavior and case management, crisis intervention, and discharge and emancipation aftercare services.
