First Community Bank is a regional retail bank that serves residents and businesses in the Corpus Christi, Texas, area. It offers a variety of financial products and services, including traditional deposit services, loans, mortgages and Internet banking. First Community has four offices in Corpus Christi; and one each in Alice, Kingsville and Portland, Texas. The bank was founded in 1983 under the name First National Bank. It switched to First Community Bank in 2002. First Community is owned by Coastal Bend Bancshares, a one-bank holding company with total assets of more than $74 million.
