Founded in 1968, Focus: HOPE is a nationally-recognized civil and human rights organization that provides intelligent and practical action to fight racism, poverty and injustice. The organization coordinates community and economic development initiatives and food programs for eligible mothers, children and senior citizens, as well as community and economic development initiatives. It offers industry-certified training in network, desktop and server administration through its information technology centers: Machinist Training Institute (MTI), Center for Advanced Technologies (CAT) and Information Technologies Center (ITC). Focus: HOPE also conducts community arts and children s day care programs, as well as a summer day camp. Focus: HOPE Enterprises, its subsidiary, provides warehousing, distribution and manufacturing services. Additionally, it maintains a conference center that handles more than 45,000 visitors annually.
