Fox Theatre, located in Atlanta, was originally the Yaarab Temple Shrine Mosque that was designed in the late 1920s as the headquarters of the more than 5,000-member Shriners organization. It is one of the leading independent, nonprofit civic auditoriums in the United States that sustains its own operations financially. The theater s auditorium is booked for a wide variety of events, such as corporate and association functions, rehearsal dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs and weddings. It is also booked for local corporate events, nonprofit organizations, school events, birthday parties and trade associations events throughout the year. Fox Theatre s Egyptian Ballroom and Grand Salon are rented for corporate events, video and film shoots, political events, press conferences, sports presentations, promotions, weddings and a wide variety of special occasions.
