Founded by Frank Frattalone in 1970 as F.M. Frattalone Excavating & Grading, Frattalone Companies set out on a 30-plus-year journey of steady, controlled growth to establish itself as one of the premier civil site work contractors in the Midwest. From modest beginnings, with an equipment fleet consisting of one 955 Cat Traxcavator and a single-axle dump truck; Frattalone was primarily a residential grading contractor. Over the years, the company has continually added to its equipment fleet and operates more than 300 units of the most technologically-advanced heavy equipment in the industry.
