Frick Middle School offers education to more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes reading and writing, mathematics, science, language arts, social studies and health and physical education. The school has an emergency communications radio for communication during emergencies and disasters. It also organizes a professional development workshop and special Saturday school for students. It also has a library, media center, and cafeteria and fitness center. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include science and mathematics Olympiad, chess tournaments and visual and performing arts. Frick Middle School is affiliated with the Oakland Unified School District.
