Established in 1986, Friends of the Family is a public nonprofit social service organization that provides a range of educational, health care and preventive services for underserved and disadvantaged individuals. It offers foster care placement, teenage pregnancy prevention, and child abuse and neglect advocacy services. Friends of the Family specializes in crisis intervention services, as well as designs and implements various educational, child care and family support programs.
