Q. How much more expensive is stamped concrete vs. gray concrete?
A. Typically the stamped and colored concrete is about double the cost of regular gray concrete.
Q. Will my stamped concrete crack down the road?
A. Your concrete regardless of being stamped or just regular gray will most likely crack. We do cut control joints in the concrete every 100 sq ft (10' x 10') to hopefully help the concrete crack in those joints.
Q. How long will the process take?
A. Typically from start to finish of a stamped and colored project will take a full 7 business days to be completed.
Q. How does this hold up to our weather conditions?
A. It is a concrete product. We use a high strength mix to ensure that the concrete is at its highest content for your job. The color hardener that we use adds strength to the surface as well as the sealer, which helps as a final coating to seal the pores of the surface.
Q. Do some patterns cost more than others?
A. No, all patterns are the same cost. Depending on what you choose to do with your project (banding, boarders etc) then your price will start to increase.
Q. Can you pour concrete year round?
A. Yes. Obviously we do not pour or work when it is raining or snowing but we have special blankets to protect the ground and retain the heat so the ground does not freeze.
